The Strategist
and Doer.A clear outside view.

I've built brands, run companies, and know how things really work in practice. Today I advise businesses with a clear, honest outside view – strategic, concrete, and execution-focused. Internally, the same point often goes unheard – from outside, it suddenly gets taken seriously.

Meine Geschichte

Kein Berater
aus dem Lehrbuch.

Erst Klarheit. Dann Sichtbarkeit. Dann Bestellungen.
My Story

Not a consultant
from the textbook.

Clarity first. Then visibility. Then sales.

I've been an entrepreneur for over 15 years. I've built brands, run online shops, sold physical products, and tested digital business models. BBM Motorsport and US Candy together brought in more than 130,000 YouTube followers. Some things worked, some didn't – both taught me what actually matters.

I've also organized events: Cars & Bratwurst with around 3,000 visitors, and NASCAR public viewings in Germany with several hundred attendees. If you can get people excited offline, you understand online why someone buys.

Today I work as an external consultant for the self-employed, shop owners, and business owners who have something good – but can't make it visible, understandable, or sellable. I don't just build you a shop. I look at your whole project: brand, product, images, copy, visibility, content, AI, and sales.

AI is a tool here, not a substitute for strategy. It's powerful once it's clear what your customer needs to understand and buy. That's exactly what I work out with you – and when it makes sense, I get hands-on too.

Motorsport & Automotive

Motorsport & Automotive

Motorsport and automotive have been with me for years: 2008 to 2011 as founder of Artevo Performance, 2012 to 2020 as co-founder of BBM Motorsport (marketing and social media), and 2014 to 2020 at EmotionDrive, a Lamborghini rental company. There I learned how to reach an audience that pays very close attention. BBM Motorsport and US Candy together brought in more than 130,000 YouTube followers – I was in front of the camera myself, thinking through content, community, and brand together. The key lesson: if you want to speak honestly to a scene, you have to speak its language and show up where it actually is. That's exactly what I apply to other brands today.

Vending & Candymat

Vending & Candymat

With US Candy, I built one of the first providers of US candy vending machines in Germany: product concept, packaging design, machine branding, online shop, and fulfillment – over 10,000 customers, more than 50 machines, and a dealer network of 800+ partners. A successful project – but a vending machine needs attention every other day, which means being tied to one location. That's exactly what I don't want: I work deliberately in a way that lets me operate from anywhere. The idea lives on as Candymat: I refer interested operators, a partner handles setup and operations on-site and is the direct contact for the Candymat operator. That way the concept stays alive without me having to run it operationally myself.

E-Commerce & Shopify

E-Commerce & Shopify

I helped build BringItOn.de in the background in 2016, and I've been running the shop myself since 2019, turning it into an e-commerce platform for 2K coating products – including target audience, positioning, and marketing. On top of that, I've built Shopify shops for clients, such as SUGARED.us, ft3d.com, and Mädchen & Motoren: setup, product photos and descriptions (AI-optimized), brand messaging, and rebranding. I build a shop myself when it makes sense. But a shop alone rarely solves the problem. What matters is whether brand, product, images, copy, content, and visibility fit together – and whether someone in the company can keep producing content afterward.

Events & Community

Events & Community

Events are my proof that I can get people moving: Cars & Bratwurst with around 3,000 visitors, and NASCAR public viewings in Germany with several hundred attendees – together with the German Rednecks, who played a major part in that success. Plus NASCARBuddy, a media project for the German-speaking NASCAR community, including events and social media presence. That means renting venues, organization, partners, and attention you can't buy. If you can make a brand tangible in person, you also understand online why people show up, stay, and come back. This offline experience is one of my biggest advantages over purely online marketers.

I use AI as a tool, not as an end in itself: for product images, product copy, video and content ideas, AI images and AI videos, simple workflows and automations – all the way to concepts for AI phone agents. I show teams how to produce content with tools like CapCut, and build structures so that it leads to lasting visibility instead of a single post. Because AI doesn't replace strategy. It speeds up execution once it's clear what you want to achieve. That clarity is exactly what I work out with you before we pick any tools.

Vorträge & Workshops

Talks & Workshops

Praxisnah statt Theorie: Was funktioniert im Alltag, was ist Hype, und was kannst du morgen selbst umsetzen?

I give talks and workshops on marketing and AI – most recently at the kickoff event “AI in the Trades” in Senden, organized by the Senden Economic Development Office, the Coesfeld Chamber of Skilled Crafts, and the Coesfeld District Economic Development Office. The event sold out completely. Practical over theoretical: what actually works day to day, what's hype, and what can you implement yourself tomorrow? You can book me anytime for a talk or workshop at your company, association, or club – I'd love more dates.

Traveling to clients, meetings, and content shoots in the Dodge Ram Van.

I combine mobility with entrepreneurship, content creation, and on-site consulting. Whether at your location, at events, or in unusual places – the outside view is often the most valuable one. You don't need me in your company full-time. You just need someone who can see from the outside what's often invisible from the inside.

Was sieht er?

Posting more doesn't help if it isn't clear first what you stand for and why someone should buy. That's exactly where most brands fail: not from a lack of reach, but a lack of clarity. What brands really need today comes down to three things.

First: clear positioning. What exactly are you selling, to whom, and why should someone buy from you specifically? If you can't say that in one or two sentences, your customer certainly can't either. Interchangeable brands get lost online, no matter how nice the website looks.

Second: a message that's understood in five seconds. A visitor lands on your homepage and decides in an instant whether to stay. What do they see? A strong image, a clear headline, a recognizable benefit? Or a jumble of products, buzzwords, and stock photos? Check your page once as if you were seeing it for the first time.

Third: content that matches both. Content isn't an end in itself. Every post, every video, every product image should reinforce your positioning. Posting at random dilutes your brand. Consistently showing what you stand for builds recognition – and recognition is the foundation of trust.

There's also something that's often underestimated: images and copy aren't decoration, they're sales arguments. A weak product photo or a generic description costs you orders, even if the product itself is excellent. And a logo that says nothing about you is wasted space.

And the tools? Shopify, AI, social media, newsletters – all useful, but all secondary. In most cases, you don't have a tool problem, you have a clarity problem. Only once brand and message are in place is it worth investing in reach.

That's why my order is always the same: clarity first, then visibility, then sales. Reverse it, and you pay for reach that doesn't sell.

Mein Rat: Fang klein an.

AI isn't a substitute for strategy. But it's powerful once it's clear what your customer needs to understand and buy. That one sentence decides whether AI saves you time and money, or just lets you produce mediocrity faster.

Where AI genuinely helps in marketing: product photos can be improved without booking a photo studio every time. Product descriptions get clearer and more sales-focused when you rework them with a good template. For content, you get ideas, hooks, and script drafts in minutes instead of hours. AI images and AI video make formats possible that used to need a whole team. And in day-to-day workflows – from preparing quotes to routine replies – it takes the grunt work off your plate.

Where AI doesn't help: with the question of what your brand stands for. With your stance. With deciding what to offer in the first place. Leave those questions open, and AI just gets you more of the same, faster.

That's why I work this way: first we clarify the goal and target audience. Then we check where the project is losing time or quality. Only then do we pick tools – and only the ones that fit your daily routine. An employee who's had a one-off CapCut tutorial won't automatically produce good content long-term. That takes structure, ownership, and a simple workflow.

My advice: start small. Pick one process that annoys you and test whether AI does it better. Evaluate the result honestly and compare it with what you had before. No hype, just substance. That's how AI becomes what it should be: a very good tool in the hands of someone who knows what they want to achieve.

If you're in your own company every day, at some point you stop seeing what a visitor notices in five seconds. That's not a weakness, that's operational blindness – and it affects anyone who's worked on the same thing for a long time.

How to spot it: the images are "good enough," the copy "is fine," the homepage is "how we've always done it." At the same time, you wonder why the orders aren't coming, even though the product is genuinely good.

An outside view checks exactly these spots, without regard for habits: do the images look high-quality or generic? Does the copy explain the benefit or just the product? Does a stranger instantly understand what it's about? Are there trust signals, and a clear reason to buy? Often it's just a few levers that need to work together: brand, message, images, copy, content, and visibility.

The advantage of an outside consultant isn't magic, it's distance. I have no history with your project and no hesitation about naming things honestly. At the same time, I've built brands, run shops, and organized events myself – I know what it feels like to be in the thick of it.

You don't need someone permanently in your company. You just need someone who can see from the outside what's often invisible from the inside. Usually one conversation is enough: you show me your project, I tell you honestly where you're losing visibility and sales – and what makes sense next. Then you decide if and how we keep working together.

There's one more thing: a managing director I work with told me recently that he can say the same thing internally five times and nothing happens – but when he says the exact same thing as an external advisor, it gets implemented right away. That's not about better ideas, it's about how people weigh suggestions: from someone on the team, you expect opinions; from someone brought in specifically for the job, you expect a judgment call – and that gets weighted differently.
